SKOKIE VALLEY KENNEL CLUB

GCH CH Tolkien Raintree Mister Baggins

There were also four shows in the Chicago area this past week, but you had to visit two different sites to see them all.  The weekend started in Wheaton IL on Thursday.  Check our archives for reports on the Starved Rock Kennel Club’s two shows.   Exhibitors broke camp Friday evening and caravanned over to Rosemont IL a weekend with Skokie Valley Kennel Club.

Saturday ended with Michele Billings final with the Brittany, GCH CH Gourley's DFL 99 Carat Diamond, the Longhaired Dachshund, CH Homar's Solo Avaitor, the Bernese Mountain Dog, GCH CH Alpenspirit's Lion King, the Smooth Fox Terrier, GCH CH J'Cobe Broxden The Headliner, the Shih Tzu, CH Olive's Grove Odd Thomas, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Jaset’s Satisfaction, and the Bearded Collie, GCH CH Tolkien Raintree Mister Baggins.  It was the Beardie, Roy, picking up his second BIS of the weekend.  That brings Roy’s 2010 BIS total to 33.

Ed Bivin had the last call on Sunday and his choice of Roy, the above named Doxie, Smooth Fox, & Poodle, the Golden Retriever, GCH CH Rushhill's All Fools On Deck, and the Brussels Griffon, GCH CH Knolland Amber Moon.  His Best was the Griff, Lainey.    This cutie is just 17 months old and already has five BIS to her credit.  Lainey is the precocious daughter of the late, great CH Cilleine Masquerade.
