WINDHAM COUNTY KENNEL CLUB

GCH CH Dawin Spitfire

For many Black Friday means a day at the mall, shopping for bargains, but in the dog world, a day after a holiday means an extra show to shop for points.

The show with the most points today was the Windham County Kennel Club in West Springfield MA where almost 1900 dos were entered.  The big numbers drew many of the country’s top dogs.  The powerhouse seven that made it to James Reynolds final were the Irish Setter, GCH CH Shadagee Caught Red Handed, the Rhodesian Ridgeback, GCH CH Mzazi s Beau De Soleil, the Akita, GCH CH Nakodo‘s Reign Of Glory, the Irish Terrier, GCH CH Fleet St Fenway Fan,  the Pekingese, GCH CH PalaceGarden Malchy, the Standard Poodle, GCH CH Dawin Spitfire, and the Bearded Collie, GCH CH Tolkien Raintree Mister Baggins.

His BIS was the Number Eight Dog in the US, the Standard Poodle, Jetta.  Jetta and handler Sarah Riedl have collected 27 all breed BIS this season.
