The weekend would start in Oyster Bay NY with Friday’s Brookhaven Kennel Club being rained out. However, dog folks are a tenacious lot and Saturday’s Suffolk County Kennel Club show and Sunday’s Westbury Kennel Association event would brave the soggy grounds and give adventurous spectators some memorable moments.
GCH CH Fleet St Fenway Fan
Saturday Patricia Lapinski’s BIS lineup included the Black Cocker spaniel, GCH CCH Casablanca’s Thrilling Seduction, the Petit Bassett Griffon Vendeen, CH Jaren's N Chien Blanc On The Road Again, the Bullmastiff, CH Highpoint's Fifth Wheel Don't Blink, the Irish Terrier, GCH CH Fleet St Fenway Fan, the Miniature Pinscher, CH Kimro's Soldier Boy, the Bulldog, CH Miracle's Balducci, and the German Shepherd Dog, Makintrax Iron Will. They don’t get much more tenacious than Irish Terriers and Saturday’s BIS winner, Fynn, is the epitome of the breed. That brings Fynn’s 2010 BIS total to five.
